319 - Nothing in the world has everything; and, a lot have nothing. Hiding here is everything that you never expected to find, and perhaps an equal quantity of what you really wanted and expected and knew you would never find in a painting, yet with some exceptions. It is those exceptions which a continuing search uncovers, though gradually at first; and, after a couple years of looking, these small discoveries are somewhat reassuring. In troubling times, that can be rather pleasant.
